Women building - Mother's Day Brunch!

Dear Friends,

For those of you who were able to join us, Thank You for making our Inaugural Women Building Vallejo Breakfast unforgettable!

We came together during Women’s History Month to break bread, share space, and learn about the powerful and often overlooked history of women’s mental health in the United States. It was a beautiful morning filled with love, knowledge, community, and sisterhood. Our gathering reflected the richness of Vallejo itself—a diverse group of women of all ages and backgrounds—united by a shared commitment to building something better together.

This event would not have been possible without the incredible support of our sponsors, vendors, guest speakers, and volunteers. Your time, talents, and generosity helped us create something truly special. Special thank you to our Guest Speaker Nia Meadors. Nia is a wonderful speaker who truly captivated the audience. Check out her recap blog post of this beautiful gathering entitled:

WOMEN’S MENTAL HEALTH: BREAKING THE SILENCE, SMASHING THE STIGMA

A very special thank you goes out to the Ponds Family, who showed up as a unit and truly elevated the entire experience. We especially want to honor Ayndreia Ponds—a hard-working, loving, and giving mother—whose ongoing dedication to making Vallejo a place where we can all live, play, and grow inspires us deeply.

Ayndreia, your unwavering commitment doesn't go unnoticed. We love you, Queen! Thank you for your friendship, fellowship, and sponsorship of this first of many Women Building Vallejo events. The road we’re on isn’t always easy, but it’s one worth traveling. And with sisters like you beside us, we know we’re moving in the right direction.

Did you miss the inaugural event? No worries—we're just getting started!
