Founded in 2008 by Northern California native, self taught Artist, Activist, Visionary and single mother of six, Izzy Drumgoole. One People Tribe - Urban Consulting Group, for Drumgoole, was developed as an expression of honor, respect and tribute for our planets human family. With a strong believe that we are all connected, have everything we need and that by working together we can accomplish anything, Drumgoole has mastered the art of manifestation. As a warrior of hope and trail blazer representing single minority mothers she embraces challenges and changes as the fuel for her unstoppable resiliency.

Izzy Drumgoole has created a space that is welcoming, inspires creativity and artistry, and is accessible to a growing community that thrives in her amazing space.

— SUSAN G.

Basing her life’s inspiration from her favorite children’s book “Stone Soup” Drumgoole has embodied the principals of this children’s tale. Even if you think you have nothing, life is about perspective, formulas and taking the time to be in the moment and to look at the bigger picture. Synapsids: A traveler found themselves with no money and no food but they had an idea. They traveled into a village and found a pot, built a fire and put a stone in the pot and placed the pot on the fire. They added water to the pot and as the steam began to rise from the boiling water they caught the attention of a passerby. The curios villager asked the traveler what they were cooking. The traveler told the villager that they were making stone soup. The villager asked the traveler what stone soup was. The traveler said right now, it’s just a stone, but when its done it will be delicious and I will share it with you. The villager was pleasantly surprised with the travelers generosity. The traveler then told the villager that they could add any of their favorite ingredients to the stone soup as well if they wanted to.  The villager ran off to gather their contribution for the soup. Slowly other villagers followed suit. The soup started to let off delicious smells attracting more and more villagers. Before long the pot was filled with a plethora of decadent flavors, textures and nutrients that then fed the entire village with everyone giving just a little.

With limited resources herself, Drumgoole as a traveler of this world, refused to accept oppression and closed doors as a final answer. Becoming somewhat of a serial entrepreneur over the last decade, Drumgoole has founded multiple community projects, programs and small businesses including: Project Give - The Art of Giving, Ancient Garden’s Wellness Center, Studio 1405 Boutique & Artist Collective, Izzy’s Event Center, OPT Murals & Mind Garden Mural Arts Training Program for youth, rebranding of Central Vallejo as “MidTown Vallejo” - and the Start Healthy Magazine Marketing Campaign.

In addition to her own organizations and campaigns, Drumgoole’s also played a role in the growth and development of various San Francisco Bay Area individuals and small business through custom creative services including organizations such as: Solano AIDS Coalition Vintage Boutique (AIDS education organization and thrift store), Vallejo Patients Coalition (Patient Advocacy, Cannabis Education & Access), Askari Swonde~ Productions (Community Kwanza, Black History Month, Vallejo Peace Rally) Legal Lynching of Hakeem Brown (cannabis political campaign), Bay Area Mural Program, Treasure Box Collection (Wholesale Antiques Dealer), Senior Cann by Brenda Crawford (Senior Cannabis Education Programing),  Project KIKS (International nonprofit to help put shoes on the feet of disadvantaged children) New Pacific Studio (International Artist Residence Program), The Lotus Project (Women’s Support Group) Love Vallejo/Tru Boss Inc. “As a former Commissioner on the City of Vallejo Beautification Commission, I know how important it is to create spaces that are uplifting and provide a source of inspiration to the community. By allowing spaces like this one to thrive, we as a City can continue offering programs that impact young people, people of color, and the disadvantaged.”
